Method
- Place chicken in a gallon ziplock bag. Using a flat meat mallet, pound chicken to an even thickness.
- Whisk together Italian dressing and taco seasoning. Pour over chicken and refrigerate at least one hour to overnight.
- Remove chicken from marinade.
- Prepare grill and grill chicken until done, approximately 12 to 15 minutes.
Notes
- Tip 1: You can use any cut of chicken you prefer – breasts, tenders, thighs.
- Tip 2: Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 165ºF.
- Tip 3: To cook chicken without a grill, pan sear on both sides for 3 to 4 minutes. Place on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake at 400ºF for 10 minutes, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165ºF.
- Tip 4: Consider using homemade taco seasoning for a fresh flavor.
- Tip 5: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
