- In a medium-sized skillet, add vegetable oil about 1 inch up from the pan and heat over medium-high heat.
- Slice the apples into 1/4 inch slices.
- Dip the apple slices into cornstarch and add them to the hot oil. Fry for 1-2 minutes until they start to soften.
- Carefully remove them with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Combine the sugar and cinnamon and roll the apple into the coat.
- Serve with caramel sauce for dipping.
