Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This is an important step; moisture can hinder crispiness.
Season the wings with salt and pepper. I like to use about a teaspoon of each, but feel free to adjust according to your taste preferences.
Place the seasoned wings on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring they’re not overcrowded.
Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake the wings for 40 to 45 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
While the wings are baking, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. This will give your sauce a rich, smooth texture.
Stir in the buffalo wing sauce until well combined.
Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and toss them in the buffalo sauce until they’re evenly coated.
For serving, feel free to offer blue cheese dressing on the side.
