Notes
- Tip 1: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Just drizzle a little olive oil on top to keep it fresh.
- Tip 2: You can freeze your Basil Pesto in ice cube trays for easy portion control. It’s perfect for dropping into soups or pasta dishes later.
- Tip 3: This pesto is fantastic with grilled vegetables and fish. It also makes a lovely dip for bread or crackers.
- Tip 4: Try mixing in other herbs like mint or cilantro for a unique twist. Each herb brings its flavor profile, so don't be afraid to mix it up!
- Tip 5: If you like a bit of heat, consider adding red pepper flakes to the mix. It gives a spicy kick that complements the pesto beautifully.
