Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni pasta
  • 4 hard boiled eggs
  • 1/2 cup diced green pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup diced white onion
  • 1/2 cup sweet relish
  • 1/3 cup honey mustard
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Rinse and drain. Let cool.
  2. Dice 3 hard boiled eggs and add them to a mixing bowl with green pepper, celery, onion, relish and mustard. Mix well. Stir in pasta.
  3. Add mayonnaise, milk and sugar and mix well. Refrigerate, covered, for four hours. Mix well before serving.
  4. Top with remaining sliced hard boiled egg before serving.

Notes

When storing leftovers of Classic Macaroni Salad, make sure to keep it in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It can last for up to three days, but is tastiest when enjoyed fresh. Consider adding fresh herbs like dill for an added layer of flavor.
