In a large mixing bowl, combine whole milk and granulated sugar. Whisk together until the sugar is fully dissolved.
Add in the heavy cream and vanilla extract. Stir gently until everything is well combined.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the mixture for at least one hour.
Once chilled, pour the mixture into your ice cream maker. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for operation.
After the mixture has thickened, gradually add the coarsely crushed chocolate sandwich cookies.
Once the ice cream reaches the desired consistency, spoon it into a freezer-safe container with a lid.
Seal the container and place it in the freezer for at least 2 to 3 hours, or until the ice cream is firmly set.
When you’re ready to enjoy, scoop out the ice cream and serve it in bowls or cones.
Store any leftovers in the freezer.
