- Peel oranges or clementines into segments and remove any seeds. Remove any large pieces of the white pith with your fingers as it can cause bitterness.
- Slice tops off of strawberries then slice into even pieces.
- Add the clementines, strawberries, honey, ice, and almond milk to a blender. Blend until creamy.
- Taste! If more sweetness is needed add a little more honey until desired sweetness is achieved, then enjoy.
Notes
- Tip 1: Substitute plain almond milk and half a teaspoon of vanilla for vanilla almond milk.
- Tip 2: For a pulp free smoothie, strain through a sieve after blending. There will still be small bits of pulp from the clementines in the smoothie after blending. If you prefer a pulp-free smoothie a quick strain does the trick.
