  • 1 box cake mix white, yellow or pound
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 8 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1 pound powdered sugar set 2 tablespoons aside

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to combine the cake mix, 2 large eggs, and melted butter. Spread into prepared pan.
  3. In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to combine the 2 large eggs, cream cheese, and powdered sugar. Beat well and pour over the cake batter.
  4. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the cake seems fairly firm to touch in the center. Sprinkle with the reserved powdered sugar.
