Notes

  • Storage: Homemade Guacamole usually lasts up to 2 days. When you see a puddle of brown liquid and the layers below the surface have lost their vibrant green color, it’s time to throw it out.
  • Freezing: Freezing Guacamole is possible! Just make sure to portion it into airtight containers. It can last up to 3 months. Allow it to thaw in the fridge overnight before serving.
  • Pairing: Serve Guacamole with tortilla chips for a classic combo, or use it as a topping for tacos and burritos for added flavor.
  • Ripening: If your avocados are not ripe enough, leave them at room temperature in a brown paper bag. This helps speed up the ripening process.
  • Customization: Don't hesitate to customize your Guacamole with spices like smoked paprika or hot sauce for a different flavor kick.
