Ingredients

  • 2 Mangoes very ripe – peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup Coconut yogurt or soy yogurt
  • ½ cup Water
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground cardamom optional
  • 2 teaspoons Granulated sugar optional

Equipment

  • Blender

Method

  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients. Chop the mangoes into small pieces, making them easier to blend. The aroma of fresh mangoes is sure to make your mouth water!
  2. In a blender, combine the chopped mangoes with the coconut yogurt (or soy yogurt) and water. This combination is where the magic happens! Make sure you add enough water to achieve your preferred thickness.
  3. Blend everything together until smooth. You want a creamy, velvety texture with no lumps. If the mixture is too thick, simply add a little more water and blend again.
  4. Now, taste your Mango Lassi. If you prefer it sweeter, add in the granulated sugar and blend once more. Adjust sweetness to your liking!
  5. If you want to elevate the flavor, sprinkle in the optional ground cardamom. It adds an aromatic touch that complements the sweetness of the mangoes.
  6. Once you achieve the desired taste and texture, pour the Mango Lassi into glasses. I love serving mine chilled to enhance the refreshing experience!
  7. For a touch of elegance, garnish with a sprinkle of ground cardamom or a few small pieces of mango on top before serving.
  8. Now, grab your favorite straw or spoon and dive into this tropical delight!
