Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup beef drippings from a roast
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 eggs eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. Pour the beef drippings into an oven-safe pan.
  3. Place the pan into the oven and allow it to get very hot.
  4. Combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl with a mixer.
  5. Pour the batter into the hot pan, and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes.
  6. Cut into squares, and serve immediately alongside a roast.
